The victims, a 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, told police three masked men burst into the home in the 400 block of JFK Boulevard shortly before 5 p.m. One of the men pointed a gun at the victims while a second threatened them with a door brace security pole found within the apartment, they told police.
The victims were ordered to open a safe inside the home and hand over the contents. They were then ordered into a bedroom and made to lie face down on a bed while they were robbed of their cell phones, police also said.
The investigation into the incident was ongoing early Tuesday, police also said.
